The Gruppo Triestino Speleologi (GTS), has been active in
speleological exploration all over Italy for more than 50 years,
with important scientific contributions and publications, such as
the annual "Bollettino"
and specialized essays. Adheres to the Italian
Speleological Society and is member of the Federazione Speleologica Triestina and the
Federazione Speleologica Regionale del Friuli
- Venezia Giulia.
If you are interested in our activity, and
want to know more, come and see us at via Settefontane 44/A in
Trieste, on Tuesdays or Fridays from 9pm to

If you have never been in a cave, and you
would like to approach speleology for the first time, contact us:
every year GTS organizes an introductive course to
speleology with instructors qualified from the National
Commission of Speleological Schools of the Italian
Speleological Society (SSI).
